How to open a banana

Hello, it's been a while since I had a last blog post. But I saw this YouTube movie and it really 'blew my mind' like the guy in the movie said. just watch... and you also feel owned by monkeys

!

I know there are people who got no life and people who are fan of Metal Gear Solid. But creating an exclamation mark of fallen leaves is just another example of how far people can go.

For Janneke

Last Friday was the birthday of a friend of mine. I didn't forgot about it, but somehow I neglected to remind myself to call her. I was planning to visit her, I cleaned my car, even bought flowers for her. But after that I received an SMS that the party was cancelled. So I ended up home with flowers without calling her. So to make it up a little ... I've dedicated a blogpost to her to let everybody know, that she is a friend of mine and I actually did not do anything that day to show my friendship to her. And I feel very very guilty about it. So as we say it in Dutch: "rather too late than never." Happy Birthday to You

Wouter Hamel

It's a name which was unknown to me until a week ago. My friend told me about this guy. It's a singer from The Netherlands, that he was very popular in Japan and all. I never heard of him and in one week time, I saw his posters, saw some youtube movies and it's even in the top 10 Google suggest if you type only "Wouter".

My brother had this random idea to go to Floryn to have some lunch with Ray. but today is Saturday and there is always a radio show going on @Floryn which I forgot about it. So we went there and there was a live act of someone called Wouter Hamel. "This is no coincidence anymore" I thought. But I was very very hungry so after one song and a coke we went back outside and there he was, at the front door chilling with his band.

He told me that he loved Japan, but too bad that he has to perform and didn't had any chance to get free time to take a look around there. He would love to see Kyoto... So would I. My niece is going to graduate in Japan. She asked me to visit her, if it's confirmed that she's going there and if I got the chance.

So I had the privillege to have a small talk with him about his upcoming talent and to get to know what kind of guy he is. He's a great guy. Chill and open-minded and carefree. I like his style. I think we could have been friends under different circumstances, but he had his performance on the radio to worry about and I had my stomach. I didn't asked tot take a picture or even a autograph, because I'm not really a fan. At least, not yet. But as I am writhing this now, I probably regret it later on.
