OK, the next article is probably not intresting for all of my readers, but if you are reading my blog, at least you do know what YouTube is and although it is a nerdy hack. I think people actually think it is usefull stuff!
Someone told me to look at a YouTube-movie which was extremely sharp and definitely better quality than in the past.
This article was already published on a Dutch site Frankwatching, since 1st April 2008. Probably everybody thought this was a hoax and never cought my attention until this night.
please take a look a the following movies: watch and see yourself (ignore the preview pictures. Take a good look and listen well)
"Olde School" YouTube
URL: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=qXjsVodUO5s
"New and Improved" YouTube
URL: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=qXjsVodUO5s&fmt=18
You found this neat trick on a topic-forum on the site called Videohelp.com. By adding &fmt=18 or &fmt=6 to the URL in the address-bar, you can "upgrade" the video. What's the difference between 6 and 18? I don't really know. But what I do know is, in both cases, somehow not only the quality is upgraded from 320×240 pixels to 480×360 pixels, but also the sound is full stereo too! I have coincidental tried this movie, perhaps it won't work on old videos. At least it is worth to try it!

My Ride for Today
So I went to the garage and they had only one car left to let me borrow, this beauty. It was my first experience in a large car. Although I have driven a Ford Mondeo 2.0 before, this is from a whole different world. A Ford Mondeo is stable as it goes and shows it's brute strength as you step on the gas. You can feel the pavement already behind you.
But the Alfa 159 1.9 JTS... It's quiet and relaxing as you cruise, but when you step on the gas... this bella feels you, like she knows what you want. You don't feel any raw power like the Mondeo, but you can hear the heartbeat, the engine. It's smooth sound and very elegant. As soon as you reach the 4000 revs, it changes into some kind of "Samus Hypermode" and then rushes to a limit of 7000 rpm and it feels like she's screaming "MORE". So you shift up and there she goes again. It's thrilling and adrenaline filling.
Too bad I had it only for 21 kilometers... but it's more than enough... for now

Dinner with my cousin
It was a long time ago we got together, just the two of us, so we went to one of my favourite places, "Café Olivier" in Utrecht. We both had a 3 course dinner meal, and somehow we ended up with a Coupe Dame Blanch (in the front) and a giant waffel called "Luikse Wafel". Normally I don't choose for a desert, but this was really good stuff. It was nice to get up to date with my niece. We haven't seen each other the whole summer

Ray playing Crysis @ my room
So Ray decided to come to Utrecht, because it was getting bored in Hengelooo. Especially without Ivo and Cetin around. And now his "OV studentenkaart" was valid again he had one more reason to come to Utrecht and visit us. We started our first night out of this collage year and had some tequilla and beer... and tequilla. Actually they did, because I didn't drink alcohol at all :)

A quad in A'dam
This was actually a test from my phone. It had a blog function specially for Blogspot and I tried it out. It worked out pretty cool actually.
So I was in Amsterdam competing in a Wii-game tournament for Smash Bros Brawl. I received an e-mail last Monday, that I was selected for the Dutch Smash Bros Brawl competition/tournament. I haven't played the game since I beat the Submissionary mode, and that was in 3 days after it's release here in Holland. So I decided to get the game back online and practice for the preliminaries in Amsterdam. It was a knock out system and I lost at the first round. Actually the one who knocked me out, was also the winner of the preliminaries, so I did lose with a reason.

Finally a Blog
Hello world!
There is no more nerdy opening of a blog than that, haha. Welcome everybody to the ones who thinks my life is worthy to read about. Although I am into the world of the Internet, I'm a sort of lagger when it comes to social stuff like Facebook or something like that. I had a blog about my work, but it's different when it comes to daily life blogging. But I finally got a blog and I'm actually starting to get excited about this blogging thing.
I even forgot my manners. I'm a Chinese guy, Cantonese to be precise and as I write this blog, currently 24 years old and counting. In daily life I'm a software developer to "deliver some bread on the shelf" and for the ones who actually recognize the old saying. I am indeed a Chinese guy living in The Netherlands.
On the Internet I'm known as Kwoque. Why? Because it's probably one of the most unique names throughout the cyberspace, let's say I've never seen another nickname like this. The name was invented by an old fellow student which had to think of a word which ends with "-que" for a forum or something. And when he stared at me, he saw Kwoque... and that's how things started. I probably should go claiming Internet-addresses and all, but then again... what is Kwoque? Kwoque is me, and I define Kwoque.
